SKYPE BETA ADDS GROUP VIDEO CHAT
Windows: The latest Skype beta—released today—adds support for group video calling, allowing you to video conference with up to five people simultaneously.
Currently the group video chat feature is only available on the Windows version, and while it's currently free with the beta, there is a catch:It's too bad that the group video chat probably won't be available for free in the long term, especially since, for example, iChat's had group video chat for a while now, and for free. Either way, it's good to see Skype move in this direction, and we're assuming that a lot of people will be excited to try it out.

Smart Clothing
Your underwear won't be able to help you with your taxes, but your briefs may soon know when you need air. Smart fashions are the next wave in textiles and they promise to dazzle consumers with their style and innovation. Here are some of the hot products to look for on the runways of the future.
Researchers in the UK have developed an adaptive fabric that controls air flow by opening invisible micro shutters when the humidity goes up. A separate layer keeps the rain out even when air is flowing. Adaptive fabrics like this are now being designed in a variety of ways for undergarments, sports wear and fashion products.
Painting the family room? No need to change the drapes, just press a hidden button to adjust the color and texture to match your new decor. New inter-connection technologies using conductive fabrics allow sensors and processing devices to be networked together. This technology can produce fabrics that change color to suit your mood, or your new handbag. The military is also interested in this chameleon-like technology to improve camouflage techniques.
Another area of development in smart clothing is wearable computing. Head mounted displays are already available for purchase online. Other high tech gear include fabric keypads embedded in the wrist sleeve of your jacket and backpacks with MP3 players, GPS and battery charging solar panels.
These new "techstyles" are being designed differently than your Grandmother's flannel pajamas. Smart clothing design requires a team of artists, designers, scientists and engineers bringing their individual talents together to create garments that are as appealing as they are functional.
Biotechnology has the potential to make textile manufacturing cheaper, with less of an impact on the environment.
Expect to see plenty of innovation in the textile and fashion industries in the next few years-- thanks to advancements in bioengineering, nano technology and 3D scanning techniques.

Internet Blackout జూలై 9కి వాయిదా పడింది..
ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా 100 దేశాల్లోని మిలియన్ల కొద్దీ కంప్యూటర్లకి సోకిన DNSChanger అనే ట్రోజాన్ ని ఎదుర్కొవడం కోసం ఈ నెల (మార్చి 8న) FBI నిర్వహించదలుచుకున్న Internet Blackout జూలై 9కి వాయిదా పడింది. ఈ Internet Blackout ద్వారా ఏర్పడే ఇబ్బందులకు సంసిద్ధంగా ఉండడానికి కంపెనీలు, వ్యాపార, ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థలకు వెసులుబాటుగా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోబడింది.
DNS అంటే ఏమిటి?
మనం Internet Explorer, Firefox వంటి బ్రౌజర్ల లో వివిధ వెబ్ సైట్లని ఓపెన్ చేయడానికి google.com, yahoo.com వంటి వెబ్ సైట్ అడ్రస్ లను టైప్ చేస్తుంటాం కదా. వాస్తవానికి మనం పైకి పేర్లు టైప్ చేస్తుంటాం కానీ ఆయా సంస్థల IP అడ్రస్ ద్వారా మనకు సమాచారం అందించబడుతుంటుంది.
ఉదా.కు google.com అనే వెబ్ సైట్ అడ్రస్ నే టైప్ చేశామనుకుందాం. అప్పుడు 64.233.167.104 అనే IP అడ్రస్ లో ఉన్న గూగుల్ సర్వర్ కి మన తరఫున రిక్వెస్ట్ పంపబడి అక్కడి నుండి సమాచారం సేకరించబడి మన కంప్యూటర్ స్క్రీన్ పై చూపించబడుతుంది.
ఇలా ఒక మామూలు కంప్యూటర్ యూజర్ వివిధ వెబ్ సైట్ పేర్లని టైప్ చేసిన వెంటనే ఆయా వెబ్ సైట్ల IP అడ్రస్ లకు లింక్ చేయబడే సర్వర్లనే DNS Servers అంటారు.
ఇంటర్నెట్ కి కనెక్ట్ అయి ఉండే ప్రతీ కంప్యూటర్ కీ ఓ IP అడ్రస్ ఉన్నట్లే.. ఆ ప్రతీ కంప్యూటర్ ఎయిర్ టెల్, BSNL వంటి వివిధ ఇంటర్నెట్ సర్వీస్ ప్రొవైడర్లు అందించే DNS సర్వర్ల ద్వారా వెబ్ సైట్లని బ్రౌజ్ చేస్తుంటాయి.
మీరు కొన్నిసార్లు గమనించే ఉంటారు.. ఏదైనా సైట్ ని ఓపెన్ చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తే "This page could not be found" అనే మెసేజ్ వస్తుంది. ఒకటికి రెండుసార్లు రిఫ్రెష్ చేస్తే ఆ సైట్ మళ్లీ మామూలుగానే ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది. ఎందుకిలా జరుగుతుందంటే మనం సైట్ పేరుని టైప్ చేసిన వెంటనే ఆ సైట్ యొక్క IP అడ్రస్ మన కంప్యూటర్లో ఉన్న DNS Server ద్వారా సరిగ్గా గుర్తించబడక పేజీ కన్పించలేదని తప్పుడు మెసేజ్ చూపిస్తుంది.
DNS Changer ట్రోజాన్ ఎలా ప్రమాదం అంటే..?
DNS Changer అనే ట్రోజాన్ ఇంటర్నెట్ లో అశ్లీల సమాచారం వెదికే వారికీ, పైరేటెడ్ సాఫ్ట్ వేర్లు వాడే వారికీ, ఇప్పటికే ట్రోజాన్ ఇన్ ఫెక్ట్ అయిన నెట్ వర్క్ లలో అంతర్భాగంగా ఉన్న ఇతర కంప్యూటర్లకీ సోకుతుంది.
ఇది ఒకసారి మన కంప్యూటర్లో సోకిన వెంటనే మన ISP కాన్ఫిగర్ చేసే automatic, manual DNS Server సెట్టింగులను మార్చి వేస్తుంది.
వాటి బదులు నకిలీ DNS Serversకి మన కంప్యూటర్ ని దారి మళ్లిస్తుంది. అంటే ఇకపై మీరు google.com అని టైప్ చేస్తే అచ్ఛం గూగుల్ లాగే ఉన్న ఒక నకిలీ పేజీ రావచ్చు, అస్సలు గూగుల్ తో పోలికే లేని మరో పేజీ రావచ్చు.
అంటే కంప్యూటర్ యూజర్లు తాము వెదికే సమాచారం తాము పొందలేరు. తప్పుడు ఫలితాలు, వెబ్ సైట్లు చూడవలసి వస్తుంది. ఇలా కోట్లాది మంది కంప్యూటర్లకి ఇప్పటికే ఇన్ ఫెక్ట్ అయిన DNS Changer ట్రోజాన్ నుండి రక్షించడం కోసం FBI ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న పలు ప్రముఖ DNS సర్వర్లని ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా నిలిపివేసి కమాండ్ అండ్ కంట్రోల్ సర్వర్ల ఆధారంగా DNS Changer ట్రోజాన్ వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టడానికి పూనుకుంది.

How to Speed up Internet Connection ?
The following tweak applies to Windows XP Professional edition,win vista,win 7
The default system behavior is that all 100% bandwidth is available, however, if there is a running application that indicates to the OS it needs to send high priority/real time data, then as long as it has the socket open,Windows XP and later versions will restrict “best effort” traffic to 80% of the bandwidth so that high priority traffic can be accommodated. Basically, applications can make this request to the operating system for QoS support using the QoS application programming interfaces (APIs) in Windows and this only applies if a specific app is requesting QoS. If you'd like to change how much bandwidth is reserved for QoS (the default is 20% of the total bandwidth), do the following:
1. Make sure you're logged in as "Administrator" (not just any account with admin privileges).
2. Navigate to START and Run ( or Type Win+R)and type gpedit.msc
3. Navigate to Local Computer Policy and Administrative Templates > Network and QOS Packet Scheduler
4. In the right window, double-click the limit reservable bandwidth setting
5. On the setting tab, check the enabled setting.
6. Where it says "Bandwidth limit %", change it to read 0 (or whatever percentage you want to reserve for high priority QoS data)
7. Click OK, close gpedit.msc
Under START > My Computer > My Network Connections > View Network Connections, right-click on your connection and under Properties (where it lists your protocols), make sure QOS Packet Scheduler is enabled.
The tweak desribed below helps boost priority for DNS & hostname resolution in general. What this means is, it helps web pages load faster, and has negligible effect on downloads (not counting the couple of ms gain with the host resolution at connect-time).
Applying this tweak assumes some proficiency in editing the Windows Registry using Regedit (Start > Run > type: regedit). As always, backup your Registry before making any changes so you can revert to the previous state if you don't like the results.
2nd method
follow the step:-
go to desktop->My computer-(right click on)->properties->then go HARDWARE tab->Device manager-> now u see a window of Device manager
then go to Ports->Communication Port(double click on it and Open).
after open u can see a Communication Port properties.
go the Port Setting:----
and now increase ur "Bits per second" to 128000.
and "Flow control" change 2 Hardware.
apply and see the result
